The Korea Association of Teachers of English (KATE) is now accepting presentation abstract for the 2012 International Conference.
Conference Theme and Topics of Interest
The theme of this year's conference is English Proficiency For All: Narrowing English Gap. Proposals which focus on the conference theme will receive first consideration; however, all proposals in the following areas of English Language Teaching will be gratefully received.
• Approaches and Methodologies• Curriculum / Materials
• The Use of IT in Language Teaching• Language Policy
• Material Writing and Design I• Second Language Acquisition
• English Language Testing• Teaching Young Learners
• International / Intercultural Communication• Other Areas in ELT
How to Submit Your Proposal
Send your abstract proposal (250 words maximum) on Hangul or MS Word format to Prof. Sang-Keun Shin (sangshin@ewha.ac.kr) by April 2 (Mon.) 2012. On a separate page, give your name, affiliation, paper title, e-mail address, and phone number.
All papers are allotted 20 minutes for presentation followed by a 10-minute discussion.
Abstract will be reviewed by the selection committee and authors will be notified by April 30 (Mon.) 2012.
